Many people love carbonated drinks and they fill up their refrigerators with them.  There are people who could not even drink regular water anymore as they love the fizzy effect that sparkling water have.  Others turned to sparkling water for health reasons.  Whatever the reason may be the expense of buying bottled soda drinks can pile up.  Whether it is for personal use or business use, there is another way of getting your drinks charged up by using Soda Siphons with carbon dioxide cylinders.  For those who are not familiar with these gadgets, this may sound so scientific but they are just small kitchen gadgets.  The fizzy sound or those little bubbles we see on the drinks are all because of carbonation and you do not need to be a rocket scientist to produce your own carbonated water.

In the past, you will need several ingredients and a complicated set up to make soda water.  Today, you only need to get a soda siphon and some CO2 cartridges to produce them.  Even the process is so simple that it would just take a few minutes or not even a minute to do it depending on how fast your hands are.  Purchase a top-of -the -line soda siphon or seltzer bottle.  If you are running a bar, get the professional edition but if it just for home entertainment then get the one for personal use version.  iSi Soda Siphons are the best out there and you might want to invest in something durable and efficient.  They come in different funky colors and designs that can blend well with your bar décor.

The secret to making it work is the carbon dioxide cylinders or the CO2 cartridges.  Some people call them soda chargers.  They are small gas cylinders full of carbon dioxide.  After you fill up the siphon with ordinary drinking water, close it up tightly but not too tight, that you will damage the threads.  Depending on the size of your soda siphon, make sure you follow the exact amount of water to put in it, as you also need enough space for the gas.  Now, insert the soda charger to the cartridge holder and screw the holder into the bottle. A hissing sound can be heard as the gas is being released into bottle, thus charging it up.

Shake the bottle quite vigorously for a few times and then unscrew the cartridge holder.  Remove the soda charger and cover it up with a cap.  There might be a slight hissing sound again when you unscrew it.  It is normal so do not be alarmed.  Now all you need is to press the lever and you get your own soda water.  There are people who will put different flavors to jazz it up.  For those who love drinking soda or sparkling water they would easily notice the difference.  The bottled soda water comes quite flat as compared to the one using soda siphons.  Charging it up with

The carbon dioxide cylinders really make a huge difference.

They are not only fresh but they are quite affordable.  You can even store it in the refrigerator if you will not be using it yet.  Just do not make the mistake of putting it on the freezer.  When cleaning up, make sure you released all the pressure by pressing on the lever before unscrewing the lid or the head.
